The first step on the fitness journey is getting my act together to run a decent 5k. Luckily, I don’t have to do it alone. I have my Droid X! I love my droid. Maybe I’ll send it some poetry. Anyway, my droid has nifty apps like the C25K. There are others like it, but this is the one I prefer. It gives audio prompts while I listen to my own music. It’s a 9 week plan, which means that by New Year’s Eve I should be running non-stop easily for 30 minutes.
Wow! That’s like a 10 minute mile! I haven’t done that since high school soccer.
Ok, so I haven’t been doing an awesome job of keeping up on this page, but I have been keeping up in real life. This morning I used my extra time before a contractor meeting to knock out the Week 2 – Day 1 workout.
